A West African Food Supplier
The client, objective brief and project team
Client: Afrobox UK owned by Nanna
Objective: To style African food and to provide food props to create a catalogue of images to enable Nanna to launch Afrobox UK. Afrobox UK is popular West African ingredients and recipes conveniently delivered, in a box, to your home.
Working closely with Fleur Challis we styled and photographed Nanna’s cooked dishes, the ingredients, serving suggestions and her to provide a bank of images to launch her brand new website Afrobox UK.
We were so delighted to be involved in this launch as it helps West African food finally get the recognition it deserves. Nanna wants West African food to be embraced by everyone but also to be available to everyone. Her Afroboxes enable you to purchase the ingredients for a one-off dish, which includes the most popular dish Jollof rice, the one-pot rice dish eaten all over West Africa. She also wants clients to be able to purchase the most popular ingredients to last for the week.
Brief: The brief was to photograph the completed dishes, as no single ingredient displays the complexity and depth of seasoning and spices used in West African Food cuisine. We also captured all of the dishes Nanna cooked to show the extent of her range.
